Art Therapy Open Studio is a community space for individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels, to come together to tap into the healing power of art as a means of self-expression and personal growth. In these sessions, individuals are provided with art materials and their own personal space to explore their emotions and thoughts through spontaneous artistic expression, which is supported by a trained art therapist on-site. 

This will be in a group setting and take place weekly, with the intention of providing a supportive group for the community. The therapist will make recommendations if individual therapy support and interventions are needed if the individual is unable to continue in a group setting.

Our well-regarded Food Waste Management Learning Journey at Our Tampines Hub will take you through the hub's application of the "Closed Loop Cycle" concept of managing food waste. It essence, with this concept, not one morsel of food waste ever leaves the complex for the incineration plants. The food waste is processed into useful products that can be use in Our Tampines Hub's eco-garden and in other areas of its infrastructure.

Food security is one of Singapore's primary concerns as a nation. We also waste food the equivalent of 2 rice bowls per person per day in Singapore! To help play a part in reducing this problem, education on food waste management is one of our specializations and it is the trusted company of many schools and coprorate organizations to conduct educational workshops on how to effectively manage and reduce food waste. One way is to through composting.

In this workshop, we show traditional methods of composting and technology-driven methods of composting. This culminates in hands-on activity involving the Smart Cara food composting machine!

Our plaques are made from 100% recycled HDPE plastic, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional materials. Each piece diverts plastic waste from landfills and transforms it into a meaningful award. Our products support refugee livelihood and they are our essential partners in reterving plastic junk from oceans.

Kokedama making is an ancient Japanese way of displaying plants by encasing the plants in moss balls wrapped in twine material. Kokedama making has become popular in recent months and we have a workshop specially curated for you that packs a lot of fun and educational value!
