Since 2016, PoPstrings Project has been working with Star Shelter, and now Zonta Pari Project under the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations to empower and support women and children to recognise and reach their full potential. The project works with volunteers and survivors of domestic violence to learn simple braiding and beading skills to create handmade bracelets and other jewellery. Its aim and vision is to support these women to be creative, joyful and spread the power of positivity (PoP), one braid at a time!
All proceeds from the sale of these creations go fully to these beneficiaries, or to the supported charity. This financial assistance can help pay for their needs such as school tuitions, travel expenses or purchase of simple daily supplies. Our sales happen on line, through CSR events (we set up PoP stalls at client locations) and charity booths at craft shows. We are thankful for your purchase
