Vun Art cooperative is a local social enterprise located in Van Phuc silk village, Ha Dong district, Hanoi, founded by Le Viet Cuong. The cooperative aims to teach art and create meaningful employment for differently-abled people. We have been providing differently-abled people with vocational training so that they can make a living and become more confident in life. We have been providing job opportunities to 20 DAP residing in Ha Dong, Hanoi, Vietnam.

By making use of the silk scraps from Van Phuc, the famous silk village of Vietnam, Vun Art revives both Vietnamese and worldwide folk paintings through silk-relating products such as silk-grafting tote bags, silk-grafting T-shirts, silk paintings, silk-grafting pen cases, silk mosaics KIT, etc. Traditional art gifts from silk scraps have significantly helped reduce the vast amount of fabric waste dumped into the surrounding environment. Besides silk scraps, our bags are made from inexpensive eco-materials, including canvas, felt and sackcloth.

From the director to designers, craftsmen, and craftswomen, we are all working hard day by day to demonstrate our values to society. We want our products to truly "live" rather than getting the public into the perspective of "obligation to help/support" our products just because we are differently abled. Vụn Art desires to become a leading social enterprise in Vietnam in the sphere of vocational training, job creation for DAP, producing traditional art gifts and providing innovative silk-grafting experiential tours. And, we want to insist that: We are not "people with disabilities", we are "DIFFERENTLY ABLED PEOPLE" and “we can bring values to society.”
